The Value of Robotics

In my time at robotics, I have gained invaluable insight into the inner functions of a team, with the skills and lessons picked up from my experiences being assets applicable to nearly every aspect of life to come .

From the planning phase, to construction and every trial and tribulation that follows, our commitment to the robot has served to develop our understanding of team based projects, whilst simultaneously testing our perseverance, causing us to grow as both a robotics team, as well as people.

Tips:
• Prioritise communication with your team above all else. The delegation of tasks, merging of ideas and lending of help that comes with good communication is all essential for an efficient and supportive team .
• Have a plan. Even if tedious, setting out your daily tasks and preparing your designs in advance is necessary, and an excellent way to keep your progress on track.
